Can you believe I am creating a Valentine’s Day post already!? January hadn’t arrived and stores were already filling the shelves with pink and red items in preparation for the holiday.
Needless to say, I have gotten in the mood for Valentine’s Day crafts!
I am still working on something to do with the kids but in the meantime, I am decorating my office and wanted to decorate a small flower pot for my table.
I can always find cute, inexpensive things at Dollar Tree perfect for seasonal crafts.
Valentine’s Day Flower Pot Design
I purchased two small clay pots (they came in one pack), red burlap ribbon (comes in red, pink, blue, and brown), red and pink hearts, floral moss, and a pink and red floral bouquet. You will also need scissors and a hot glue gun for this project.
I started by measuring the burlap ribbon around the clay pot. Once it fits the way I like it, I glue to the burlap ribbon to the clay pot.
I then added the floral moss to the pot, taking about two to three chunks from the package.
The fun part! I glued the pink and red hearts around the rim of the pot, but you can let your creative juices flow here.
Then just add your flowers!
This was a super simple craft and it looks great on my office table!
